Senior Toolroom Machinist — Tool & Die, Progressive Stamping

Location: York, Pennsylvania

Join a premier precision metal stamper serving the automotive, medical, and electrical connector sectors—supporting products like EpiPens, blood collection devices, hybrid vehicles, and surgical instruments. This role builds, qualifies, and sustains the tooling that makes these critical parts possible.

• Create, assemble, and service precision tools, fixtures, and complex progressive dies using prints/CAD.
• Fabricate components and perform die work on presses, mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Own in‑press troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Qualify tooling to First Article acceptance; verify parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to .0001".
• Collaborate with engineering/production to improve tool performance and manufacturing throughput.

• 5–10+ years in tool & die or completion of a state‑approved apprenticeship.
• Expert blueprint reading; GD precision metrology.
• Depth in machine shop practices, machining operations, mechanical principles, and materials.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; vocational certificate in tool & die preferred.
• Physical: Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• 1st: Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm
• 2nd: Mon–Thu, 3:00 pm–1:30 am
• 10% shift differential applies to off‑shift roles.
