Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Provide peri-procedural nursing support for endoscopy procedures and assist with patient assessment and documentation. Monitor patient status during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Document care provided and communicate patient status and needs clearly to the health care team. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes throughout the endoscopy pathway.
