Are you an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant looking to join a collaborative, patient-focused team? Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to support our oral surgery services while providing an exceptional patient experience.

Position Overview
The Oral Surgery Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the oral surgeon before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is confident in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritizes patient comfort and safety, and has prior oral surgery experience.

Location
This position will travel between our Citrus Park and Clearwater office locations

Wednesday,Thursday & Friday
Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Assist the oral surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placement, and other oral surgery treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment.
• Monitor and support patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with charting.
• Follow all infection control, sterilization, and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous oral surgery dental assisting experience is required.
• Current Dental Assistant certification as required by state regulations.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of oral surgery instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between the Citrus Park and Clearwater offices.

Compensation

$2-$2/hour
