Preclinical Faculty, Periodontics/Dental Hygiene (Evergreen position)

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of requirements for a comprehensive periodontal examination. Universal and area‑specific instrumentation of teeth. Pre‑clinical teaching methodology. Education: graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. Licenses/Certifications: active RDH license and valid CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, students, staff, faculty, and administration. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a group setting. Reflect, self‑assess, and think critically. Maintain confidentiality of information. Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations. Experience: previous teaching or practice experience preferred, with a minimum of one year of practice experience. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
