Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an evening shift position requiring an active Ohio RRT license and NBRC certification.

Job Details

• Respiratory department position within a large hospital system,
• Evening shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM,
• Weekend work as needed,
• May float to other CCF facilities including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus,

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration - license required if applicable,
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT,
• Minimum 1 year combined experience in the specialty for Ohio locations,
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty (co-worker references not accepted),
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually,
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract,

Additional Information

• Perform respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics duties as part of the RRT team,
• Facility is smoke free and nicotine free with no exceptions,
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only,
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday,
• All RTO must be discussed during interview and included at time of consideration,
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate,
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility; no license hits accepted,
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date,
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required unless deferred by the facility,
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
