Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Florida

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) or 8-hour shifts available; no call required; shift-based emergency department coverage

Highlights:

• Work at a Level 2 Trauma Center (ACS Level 1) and associated freestanding emergency departments
• Proficiency required in all emergency procedures including central access, arterial lines, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization
• APP support available depending on shift; collaborative environment with EM residency program onsite
• Flexible scheduling with 12-hour or 8-hour shift options; no on-call responsibilities
• 1-2 year anticipated assignment duration with opportunity for extension
• Emergency privileges available for expedited credentialing

Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine following completion of accredited EM residency, OR
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with 3 years of emergency medicine experience (freestanding locations)
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
• Proficiency in comprehensive emergency care procedures and protocols
• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certifications current
