Compensation - $32-$38 / hr Location - Moorpark, CA
Responsibilities And Duties May Include:
- Reconcile bank statements and track daily banking activity.
- Prepare account reconciliations including researching and resolving any reconciling items.
- Assist with the month-end close process including journal entries and variance analysis.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and other financial and statistical data reports, in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensures confidentiality of financial data and customer records.
- Property Tax reporting, Sales and Use tax reporting.
- Assist with preparation of audit supporting schedules for external auditors.
- Develops, implements, and monitors systems for general accounting.
- Analyzes, reviews, and audits overall general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major
- 1-3 years accounting experience
- Microsoft Excel intermediate level
- Great Plains software experience preferred
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
