Job Duties
  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create specialized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional milestones.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapy approaches to empower patients and their families in supporting continued progress at home.
  • Track Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on track.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education and postgraduate certifications are encouraged.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT certification is mandatory
