- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create specialized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional milestones.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapy approaches to empower patients and their families in supporting continued progress at home.
- Track Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on track.
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Continuing education and postgraduate certifications are encouraged.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification is mandatory
