Our success is built on collaboration, quality, and the dedication of our people.We are seeking a Buyer I who focuses on sourcing and purchasing goods and services (e.g., MRO, facilities, IT, and services) to ensure smooth business operations. Highly organized and detail-oriented individual supporting procurement activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced, technical setting. Entry level position which could prepare individual for future commodity manager roles.Responsibilities:Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for indirect goods and servicesTrack order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveryInterface with internal stakeholders (e.g., facilities, IT, engineering, finance) to clarify requirementsMaintain procurement data, supplier records, and documentation in ERP systemsSupport RFQ processes, supplier selection, and onboarding activitiesAssist with pricing validation, contract administration, and cost trackingResolve routine issues related to order discrepancies, delivery delays, and invoicingMonitor spend against budget guidelines and support cost control initiativesEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirementsUnderstand and execute to procurement policies and proceduresProficient on the purchase to pay process to guide internal stakeholdersLocationBrookfield CT Office. This is an on-site position and we are not open to remote candidates at this time.
