Our team members are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of residents every day.**As an Area Human Resources Manager, you lead HR strategy and operations across multiple Sunrise communities, ensuring strong recruitment, compliance, and team member engagement.**This role currently supports the Greater Detroit market, including Troy, Birmingham, Plymouth, and Grosse Pointe Woods.****Regular travel between communities to provide on-site HR partnership and support, with approximately three to four days per week spent onsite across these locations, based on market needs.**What You'll Do:- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, job fairs, and hiring processes- Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws- Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members- Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation- Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims- Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management- Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations- Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning- Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff- Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC)You play a vital leadership role in building engaged teams, protecting compliance, and strengthening the team member experience across your region.What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field- 2+ years HR experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)- Supervisory and employee relations experience- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills- High integrity and attention to detail- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systemsRegional HR Manager - Lead People Strategy Across CommunitiesHR Manager | Human Resources Leadership | Employee Relations# **Pay Range:**68,000.00 - 85,000.00As part of our team, you will help brighten the future for everyone at Sunrise and beyond.
