Quick Facts Location: 5000 Kentucky 321, Prestonsburg, KY 41653 Start Date: 04/27/2026 End Date: 04/26/2027 Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no call Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $479.70 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team from VHS What You’ll Do Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care to approximately 15 patients per day Support a team consisting of APP support and three physicians at the facility Manage a low-volume, solo provider clinic focusing on hematology and oncology cases (60/40 split) Document patient encounters efficiently using Meditech EMR Ensure patient care quality while adhering to clinical guidelines Maintain timely communication with patients and team members Support the department’s goal of delivering compassionate, comprehensive outpatient care What You Need Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology Recent patient-facing experience in an outpatient setting Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, committed to providing exceptional outpatient hematology and oncology services.
