Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a circulating nurse in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Assist in various types of surgeries including general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgeries.
• Ensure continuous patient care by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Float between shift times and to other UCH ORs as necessary.
• Fulfill on-call duties approximately three times per eight-week schedule.
• Maintain patient safety and high standards of nursing care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years OR experience with Level 1 or 2 trauma center exposure required.
• Current AHA BLS and CO or compact RN license required.
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Ability to circulate in emergency craniotomy cases.
• Experience with a wide range of surgeries such as abdominal, neurosurgeries, and gunshot wounds.
• Not open to first-time travelers; travel experience required.
