Warehouse Operations ManagerThe Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the operations area in alignment with the Schnellecke Logistics quality management system and client requirements. This role ensures the operational area achieves strategic objectives, service level agreements, and performance goals while maintaining full compliance with safety, quality, and company standards. This position is 2nd shift working 3:30 pm to Midnight.This position reports to the Director of Operations and provides leadership to supervisors and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient manpower allocation, budget adherence, and operational excellence. The Warehouse Operations Manager drives continuous improvement, monitors key performance indicators, and ensures resources are effectively managed to support production stability and customer satisfaction within the assigned facility.What you'll do:Execute company values, mission, strategy, policies, and operational standards to support business objectivesApply Core Business Technologies and standardized procedures to ensure best practices across operationsLead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen efficiency, quality, and process reliabilityEnsure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety policies, and workload requirementsManage human, material, and automated resources to support production and service plansDirect daily operations to achieve service level agreements and client performance expectationsValidate operational action plans to ensure defined quality limits and targets are achievedDevelop, administer, and monitor Early Warning Indicators and key performance indicatorsAuthorize departmental expenditures in alignment with approved budgets and company policiesCommunicate operational performance, risks, and updates to Schnellecke leadership and client managementAlways promote and enforce safe work procedures and regulatory complianceSupport manpower planning, labor allocation, and working hours analysis to optimize productivityPerform additional operational tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations or Senior ManagerQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of logistics or operations experience in a leadership capacityStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, service level agreements, and KPI managementExperience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational resourcesDemonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and implement continuous improvement initiativesProficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systemsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods during the workdayAbility to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, vibration, and varying temperaturesAbility to wear required Personal Protective Equipment while on the shop floorMust pass background check and drug screen as requiredWork Environment:Work is performed in both warehouse and office settingsRegular exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, and automated systemsExposure to wet, humid, and occasionally loud noise conditionsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shiftRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment while on the production floorAbout Schnellecke Logistics:Schnellecke Logistics is a global logistics provider specializing in value-added logistics solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.
