Privacy Annotation Specialist for AI Training

Annotate and validate sensitive legal documents to identify personal identifiable information and other confidential content, ensuring high-quality training data for AI systems. This contract role uses domain expertise in contract review, eDiscovery, and compliance to improve model performance and data integrity. No prior AI experience is required, your practical legal and privacy knowledge is the primary qualification. You will work with a global AI data lab that converts real-world subject matter expertise into high-quality training data and evaluations.

• Review and annotate sensitive legal documents with emphasis on identifying Personal Identifiable Information, confidential clauses, and other privacy-sensitive content.
• Apply contract review and eDiscovery expertise to produce accurate, reliable labels for training datasets.
• Validate and confirm outputs of OCR processes to maintain data integrity in legal investigation workflows.
• Perform quality assurance checks and audits on document batches to ensure compliance with regulatory and information governance standards.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal technology teams to meet privacy and information governance requirements.
• Stay up to date with best practices in privacy, digital forensics, litigation support, and legal technology.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams.

• Proven background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
• In-depth understanding of Personal Identifiable Information and data privacy regulations.
• Relevant prior roles include Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
• Experience in legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services, including work with sensitive data in high-stakes environments.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Practical experience with legal technology and data privacy is strongly preferred. No AI-specific experience required.

Hourly rate, $105.00 to $140.00 per hour.
