Position Overview

Build Up Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our home care team in Spring Hill, Florida. This full-time role allows you to make a real difference in the lives of our patients by providing tailored rehabilitation services in a comfortable and familiar setting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy to enhance patients' mobility, reduce pain, and support recovery.

Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, where our therapists travel to clients' homes to provide individualized care. Working directly within the community allows you to establish meaningful relationships with clients and families while tailoring therapy to their specific environments and needs. Our typical schedule spans Monday to Friday, with shifts available from either 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, providing flexibility while ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and design personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities that support patients in achieving optimal functional outcomes.
• Guide and educate patients and their families on exercise programs, assistive devices, and strategies for managing daily activities.
• Monitor patient progress by maintaining accurate documentation and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide ongoing education to patients about injury prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance their recovery and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a strong focus on enhancing functional mobility, strength, and overall fitness, enabling patients to return to their regular activities. You will work closely with patients of all ages, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring they receive effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state-issued Physical Therapy license is required for practice.
• At least one year of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic conditions preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health settings is highly valued.
• Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is a significant advantage.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and wellness education.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborates effectively with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive suite of benefits.
