Assistant or Associate Professor (WOT) in Radiology, Emergency and Trauma, Harborview Medical Center Position Overview The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington is recruiting for one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor without tenure (WOT) to join the Emergency and Trauma Radiology section, with a start date of July 1 2026. The role includes a 12‑month service period (July 1–June 30). Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi‑year appointments; Associate Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments. Position Description Faculty will staff the busy emergency radiology practice, train medical students, radiology residents, and Emergency Radiology fellows, and engage in teaching, research, and service. Compensation is based on a salary range of $33,355–$37,305 per month ($400,260–$447,660 annually) commensurate with experience, plus incentive eligibility through the physicians’ practice plan. Qualifications M.D. or D.O., or foreign equivalent, in medicine Eligibility for full medical licensure in Washington State Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology Successful completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency (or foreign equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiology Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology or at least 3 months of experience in Emergency Radiology Excellence in academic achievement (record of scientific presentation and/or publications) Benefits Information The University provides comprehensive benefits.
