AssemblerShift: 6am - 2:30pm - LOTS OF OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLELocation: Fremont, CAJob DescriptionAs an Assembler, you will build and assemble power supply units using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment. You'll follow drawings and instructions, use measuring tools, perform light touch-up painting, and help keep the work area safe and organized.ResponsibilitiesAssemble products using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Measure parts to ensure they meet quality standards.Perform touch-up painting when needed.Set up and maintain tools and equipment.Follow all safety and quality procedures.Keep the work area clean and organized.Communicate issues, progress, and improvement ideas to your supervisor.Assist with moving and positioning materials and components.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in assembly, manufacturing, construction, or a related field.Comfortable using hand and power tools.Able to accurately read a tape measure.Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and heavier items when needed.Able to bend, squat, crawl, and climb as required.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical assembly experience.Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.Experience using measuring tools.Construction or trade experience is a plus.Ability to identify process improvement opportunities.Why Work Here?Overtime and double-time opportunities available.Performance-based bonus opportunities.Supportive and team-oriented work environment.Company-sponsored team lunches and employee recognition.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k).Work EnvironmentLarge manufacturing and warehouse facility.Majority of the shift is spent standing and walking.Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.Physical work that includes lifting, bending, and working with detailed parts and drawings.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
