Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 Hour Nights

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

Active Illinois Nursing License
2+ years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
Current ACLS (AHA) certification, required within 30 days of start
Current BLS (AHA) certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate the patient's physical and psychosocial status in a comprehensive manner, utilizing age-specific data.
Demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to the age of the patient.
Perform ongoing assessments and complete required documentation within organizational standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs and achieve optimal outcomes.
Assist other staff in the delivery of patient care as appropriate.
Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.
