Senior Events Manager

Role Description The Senior Events Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of company events and experiences. This role involves end-to-end event management of events that range in size and complexity, from small meetings to large conferences and trade shows. The Senior Events Manager will leverage their expertise to ensure events are aligned with business objectives, delivered within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and impact. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive leader with strong project and time management skills and a proven ability to balance strategic planning with seamless execution. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Events, this role helps translate the enterprise event strategy set by the Vice President, Events and Experience into flawlessly executed, on-brand experiences that strengthen brand perception, deepen customer relationships, and reinforce Cotiviti's evolution into a healthcare infrastructure, intelligence, and technology platform. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field required 7+ years of event marketing experience, healthcare preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, vendors, and team members Keen attention to detail to ensure every aspect of an event is meticulously planned and executed Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and handling high-pressure situations Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster a positive working environment Experience creating and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization Proficiency in event management software tools: Cvent, Powerpoint, Excel, Exhibitforce (or equivalent asset management tools), Asana (or equivalent project management software) Ability to travel up to 25% a year Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information Completing tasks independently Maintaining focus Remembering and adhering to processes and protocols Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds On-site expectations and physical requirements vary regarding trade show and client conference setup/teardown On-site events may require extended hours beyond a standard schedule Benefits Base compensation ranges from $86,000 to $111,000 per year Eligible for discretionary bonus consideration Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage 401(k) savings plans Paid family leave 9 paid holidays per year 17-27 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, depending on specific level and length of service with Cotiviti
