JCW is partnering with a highly respected U.S. based insurance carrier to hire a Claims Administrator to join their Workers' Compensation department. This is an opportunity to join a leading carrier within the property and casualty market, specializing in commercial and specialty claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to claims adjusters, ensuring timely and accurate intake and assignment of commercial claims — primarily workers' compensation.
\n
• Manage the full claims intake lifecycle — setting up, updating, and assigning new workers' compensation claims in the database, screening/routing calls, and coordinating with brokers, claimants, and insureds.
\n
• Support claims investigation and processing — gathering technical information, determining coverage and adjuster assignment, and handling correspondence, filing, and check mailing
\n
• Juggle a fast-paced, detail-driven workload, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines with strong accuracy
\n

Requirements:

\n
• At least 1 year of insurance experience, must have experience with workers' compensation.
\n
• A high school diploma or equivalent
\n
• Fluent, clear communication skills — verbal and written English required
\n
• Strong time management and prioritization skills across multiple tasks and deadlines
\n
• Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse range of people
\n
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
\n

Pay is based on candidate experience and geographic location.
