Metal Saw OperatorIncredible Temp to Hire Opportunity with great company in Houston Area!Join a company that provides high-quality tubular products and supply chain solutions to customers nationwideWhat's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Metal Saw Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 21.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm)Job Responsibilities:Work closely with Operations Management to prioritize work orders, production needs, and other jobs/projects.Cut and issue raw materials according to work orders and production requirements.Properly allocate and return remaining materials to their designated storage locations.Receive incoming materials by identifying, tagging, tallying, and verifying quantities.Maintain accurate product traceability throughout the material handling process.Safely operate metal-cutting equipment to prepare materials according to specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.Metal Saw Operator Qualifications:Required Experience & Skills:Previous experience with metal saw cutting.Experience operating bandsaws and cold saws.Experience operating counterbalance and stand-up forklifts.Experience operating overhead cranes and jib cranes.Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify and track materials.Ability to follow work orders, production priorities, and material specifications.Strong communication and teamworkApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
