DISHWASHER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Dishwasher – Full‑time and part‑time positions are available at Landmark College, 820 River Road South, Putney, VT 05346. Schedule Full‑time and part‑time shifts. Days and hours may vary; more details will be provided during interview. Experience Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Pay $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyors for the dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silver using burnishing machine tumblers, chemical dips, buffing wheels and hand cloths according to assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food-prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned.
