Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Pipe Yard Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with managing and organizing pipe inventory, loading and unloading materials, and supporting daily yard operations. Responsibilities:

• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Paint, stencil, sandblast, and coat pipes as needed.
• Load and unload pipe inventory accurately, verifying heat numbers, quantities, and complete chocking.
• Follow both verbal and hand signal instructions to identify and move pipes.
• Report inventory discrepancies and perform additional duties as requested by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (50 hours/week).
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Stable work history, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and exert 10-20 lbs. of force regularly.
• Capable of working in extreme weather and performing physical tasks.

The base salary range for this position is $15 an hour PLUS $2 an hour shift differential, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
