Remote Corporate Law Paralegal
$30/Hour | W-2 | Remote | Assignment-Based
About the Role
Equivity is seeking an experienced Corporate Law Paralegal to support attorneys with corporate governance, contracts, commercial disputes, and confidential business matters.
This is a remote, assignment-based position. Hours and workload depend on client demand and are not guaranteed. Candidates must be available for at least 20 hours per week and respond to active clients within one hour during their stated availability between 9 AM and 6 PM.
Responsibilities
- Assist with entity formation, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Draft and review contracts, NDAs, and corporate documents.
- Support commercial litigation, discovery, and trade secret matters.
- Manage confidential records, filings, and deadlines.
- Prepare document summaries, timelines, and exhibits.
- Maintain organized files and communicate with legal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of transactional corporate experience.
- Experience with corporate governance and business agreements.
- Familiarity with NDAs and confidential business information.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Minimum availability of 20 hours per week.
- Responsiveness within one hour during stated business-hour availability.
Preferred : Intellectual property experience. Experience using Clio or similar case management software.
Compensation & Work Structure
- $30/hour, W-2 employment.
- Fully remote, assignment-based work.
- Hours vary based on client demand and availability.
- Client assignments are not guaranteed immediately upon joining.
