• Hours/week: 40+
• Employment Type: Full-Time Locum (potential for permanent placement)
• License/Certifications: BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist, PA license or IMLC with LOQ (see requirements below)
• Experience: Prior Hematology/Oncology experience preferred, with PA licensing requirements including child abuse recognition and pain management courses

What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology consultations and follow-up care in a modern, fully-equipped facility
• Conduct hospital rounds and consultations daily during assigned weeks
• Participate in weekend rounds (Saturday and Sunday, 4 hours per day) on scheduled weekends
• Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and manage urgent patient issues outside of regular hours
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a full-spectrum cancer care environment, including tumor boards and radiation oncology services
• Assist in maintaining compliance with state licensing and education requirements

What You Need

• Active PA medical license or IMLC with LOQ (or successful completion of Pennsylvania licensing requirements such as child abuse and pain management courses)
• BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in outpatient Hematology and Oncology preferred
• Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills

The practice team includes infusion nurses, nurse navigators, and support staff dedicated to patient-centered care. The role offers a mix of outpatient clinic work, hospital consultation, and weekend coverage, providing a balanced and fulfilling schedule with ongoing support from a dedicated team.
