Guided by our HEART values of Humility, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Trust, we strive to create a workplace where teammates feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work every day.Think you've got what it takes?ResponsibilitiesProvides user support, problem analysis, technical assistance, and training for clinical and business information systems.Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, peripheral, and network issues and coordinates technical solutions.Monitors the call tracking system, prioritizes requests, and performs routine hardware and software maintenance.Plans, implements, tests, and troubleshoots systems software and monitors system performance, capacity, and file management.Participates in technology projects, coordinates technical activities, and develops project plans and user documentation.Provides individual and group training on computer hardware, software, and applications and shares technical guidance with other analysts.Supports research initiatives and new technology implementations and recommends solutions aligned with organizational standards.Follows customer service standards, computer security procedures, and software copyright requirements.Prepares ticketing and performance reports, identifies improvement areas, and communicates progress to management.Maintains current knowledge of technology developments, industry practices, and application products.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline preferred.3 years of technical support or IT experience required.Preferred Comptia A+ certification.About UsSince 1954, Texas Children's has been leading the charge in patient care, education and research to accelerate health care for children and women around the world.
