Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal operations teams. This role is responsible for providing shipment updates, coordinating service requests, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the transportation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
• Coordinate closely with dispatchers to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates and service information.
• Receive, process, and communicate customer requests to the operations team.
• Proactively identify and resolve service issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer and shipment information in company systems.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate delivery requirements with customers.
• Monitor daily activities and communicate any service disruptions or delays.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and communications.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, operations, billing, and management teams to support customer needs.
• Ensure customer-specific instructions and service expectations are followed.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Logistics or transportation industry experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
