POSITION SUMMARY

This position will support the Assistant Manager and Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations by assisting with crew functions, staffing, training, and development and to achieve the Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. (“GPI”) mission statement: To Profitably Provide Consistently Good Food and Great Service.

1. Coordinate preparation and delivery of pizza products by ensuring all menu items are made to GPI specifications.
2. Inform manager of low product levels.
3. Supervise and perform ingredient preparation according to established par levels and projected sales.
4. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment, which includes but is not limited to, greeting and acknowledging each guest, maintaining outstanding standards, and having solid product knowledge to answer questions.
5. Support a clean, well-maintained restaurant through the use of systems provided.

 

1. Work a variety of shifts to include opening and closing the restaurant. 
2. Supports authorized promotions according to GPI plan and standards. Maintain positive community relations. Support and execute all catering orders during shift.
3. Assist with training of crew members as needed.
4. Supervise performance of assigned job tasks according to GPI standards and procedures.
5. Assist with cost control by monitoring labor and food costs during shifts. 
6. Comply with all cash handling procedures.
7. Perform some crew responsibilities as needed or assigned up to and including duties for front of house, back of house, dough, bus and dish, and delivery driver.
8. Other duties as needed or assigned by the manager on duty for the restaurant to run efficiently and effectively.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

· High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

· Previous customer service experience

· Must be over age 18 to drive for the company as well as operate and/or clean the Hobart mixer, vegetable dicer, and dough roller

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office products helpful

• Motivation, passion, and strong work ethic

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including opening and closing the restaurant. Availability must also include a variety of days, nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the needs of the restaurant. 
• Pass the Shift Supervisor Certification exam with a minimum score of 90%.

· May need a food handler permit, liquor card, and/or First Aid & CPR certification.

• Perform other crew functions in the restaurant to maintain service standards as needed.
• Requires knowledge and successful completion of all Informant training for all operational areas of the restaurant to include: Cashier, telephone, bus/dish, dough, prep, cut station, and delivery.
