Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons in designing and implementing patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and facilitating the transfer of surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including managing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Successful completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
