ID lavoro: 3186058 | Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 Job Overview Our Sr. Operations Managers are responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives at the site. They manage teams of Operations and Area Managers, coach and mentor them, and build positive employee relations and bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. Responsibilities Drive the creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable the functional area and the FC to meet and exceed the business plan. Ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and that of their departments. Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas and integrating them into improvement plans for the functional area. Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and across the network. Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT) and other Sr. Operations Managers to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, and provide needed support for other staff initiatives. Additional Job Elements Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Walk in the FC and around the area frequently; facility length over a quarter mile. Stand and/or walk an average of 5 miles daily. Be able to work in construction or distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, or not air‑conditioned. Access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation). Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience. Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays. 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment. Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques. Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and termination. Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations. Interest in long‑term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation. Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field. MBA preferred. Benefits and Compensation The base salary range for this position is between 135,000.00 and 182,700.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
