Wealth Credit Risk 2LOD Officer, Vice President (Hybrid) We are seeking a high‑caliber professional to join our team in Mumbai, India, as a Wealth Credit Risk 2LOD Officer. The role focuses on analyzing the creditworthiness of Wealth Clients, assigning risk ratings, recommending credit actions, and monitoring exposure. Responsibilities Perform risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across Wealth Product offerings. Understand applicable credit policies, local regulations, and governance requirements. Establish and leverage cross‑functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituencies. Prepare risk management presentations for senior management, including analytics on portfolio performance and potential risk or opportunity. Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders. Exercise independence of judgement and demonstrate a proactive approach to progress tasks. Act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members. Appropriately assess risk, safeguard the firm’s reputation, and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications 8–10 years of relevant experience. Comprehensive understanding of Wealth Products, credit approval processes, risk assessment, and risk forecasting. In‑depth knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and the regulatory environment. Proven experience in strategic planning, task coordination, and overseeing credit approval and risk management projects. Proficiency in analyzing complex data, prioritizing critical information, and making informed decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and adapt to different audiences. Expertise in risk management, identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to banking regulations and compliance requirements. Education Bachelor’s/University degree. Master’s degree preferred.
