This intern will work hands‑on to develop demand forecasting models and supply planning frameworks from the ground up—turning sales data, seasonal trends, and inventory signals into actionable plans that keep our products flowing to the people who need them. Description Essential job duties: Develop demand forecasting models using historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and external market signals to project future product needs by SKU. Design and document supply planning processes that align procurement, production, and inventory to meet forecasted demand with appropriate safety stock buffers. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for the Operations and Procurement teams. Build and maintain planning and reporting tools that give the team real‑time visibility into demand vs. supply gaps. Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and refine forecast accuracy over time. Conduct statistical analysis on sell‑through rates, lead times, and stockout events to identify root causes and improve planning reliability. Document methodologies, model assumptions, and planning workflows so the systems you build are repeatable and easy to hand off. Support ad hoc analysis and planning projects as they arise because we’re a hands‑on team that wins together. High-five your teammates when another generator bites the dust.
