DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)

Location: Bucks & Montgomery Counties, PA

Pay: $18 to $25 per hour

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Aspire Independence Resources is looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence and participate fully in their communities.

In this role, you'll develop meaningful relationships while helping individuals strengthen everyday life skills, work toward personal goals, and enjoy greater independence. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in working toward goals outlined in their Individualized Service Plans (ISP)

• Assist with daily living activities, communication, social skills, money management, and time management

• Promote independence at home and throughout the community

• Provide transportation and support for community activities when needed

• Complete required documentation and progress notes accurately

• Partner with participants, families, and interdisciplinary support teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required

• Ability to successfully complete required background clearances

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

• Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), or in Human Services is a plus, but not required

• Paid training provided for qualified candidates
