Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (preferred Level III or IV experience)
• Patient ratio experience: 23 patients
• Valid RN license (compact or state) required at the time of submission
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
• Proficient in key clinical skills including ventilator management, umbilical catheter care, central line management, IV therapy, and infection control

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to neonates, including those with respiratory distress, glucose instability, and post-surgical or cardiac needs
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
• Manage feeding tube placement and administer nutrition intravenously or by gavage feeding
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage infection control protocols
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only. Compliance deadline for fingerprinting and credentialing actions is strictly enforced. References will be required from 2 professional sources, including at least 1 supervisor/manager.
