We have a mission that matters!Description of WorkThe SHIELD Case Manager serves as a dedicated resource navigator and case management specialist for employees of the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC). The primary purpose of this position will be to identify employee needs, coordinate appropriate support, and connect staff with internal and community-based resources that support and promote both personal and professional well-being.This position will provide resource navigation and coordination for a broad range of employee needs and will work collaboratively with S.H.I.E.L.D. clinical and peer support staff, agency partners, and external service providers to identify appropriate services and referral options. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Case Manager will report to the Senior Critical Incident and Peer Support Manager and may be called upon to serve in a peer support capacity when appropriate. The S.H.I.E.L.D. case manager will be responsible for developing community partnerships and relationships that strengthen and expand available resources and referral pathways to external providers to ensure employees have timely access to the services and resources they need.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Range: $ 52,592 - $ 92,036The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
