Electro/Mechanical TechnicianEastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of automated production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in maximizing equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. It offers long-term stability, opportunities to expand technical skills, and the ability to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipmentDiagnose issues involving motors, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, control panels, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated machineryPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtimeRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentationTroubleshoot and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems, VFDs, motor controls, and associated electrical componentsAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiativesPerform equipment calibration, testing, and startup activities as neededDocument maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and completed work orders accuratelyMaintain compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, food safety requirements, and company safety policiesCollaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support operational goalsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V three-phase electrical systemsExperience troubleshooting VFDs, motor controls, PLC inputs and outputs, industrial sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsStrong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills with a focus on improving equipment reliabilityExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independentlyAssociate degree, technical certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industrial maintenance experiencePreferred:Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics certificationWelding and fabrication experienceExperience supporting automated manufacturing equipmentPLC troubleshooting and diagnostic experienceBenefits:MedicalDentalVision401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementCompetitive compensation based on experienceCareer growth opportunitiesWork Environment:This position requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment around moving mechanical equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, lifting, and equipment troubleshooting are required throughout the workday.
