Alliance Labor Group is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing Shipping, Powder Coating, and Metals operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 2nd shift employees across Shipping, Powder Coating, and Metals departments.
• Ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Monitor productivity, quality standards, and department performance.
• Manage employee scheduling, timekeeping, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Coordinate workflow, inventory movement, and ERP/MES transactions to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Oversee shipping operations, dock management, warehouse organization, and product staging.
• Ensure all products are packaged, loaded, and shipped safely and damage-free.
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve production or shipping issues.
• Maintain equipment, coordinate routine maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping, warehouse, or production environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Forklift experience required.
