Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to guide them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy practices to encourage continuous improvement at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical development and modify treatments accordingly to ensure patients remain goal-oriented.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to continuing education or additional certifications welcomed and encouraged

Licenses

• A valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
