Accounting clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our clients Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning customer invoices, matching and batching paperwork accurately and promptly, and providing clerical support to our accounts receivable and customer service teams. This role requires proficiency in data entry, familiarity with SAP for processing vendor invoices, and the ability to handle large workloads efficiently. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Scan all customer invoices into the system on a daily basis.
• Match and batch invoices and credits accurately and within specified time constraints.
• AP Coding
  Processing Vendor Invoices in SAP
  Pulling Concur back up for SAP Indexing
  AP Experience, SAP experience, MS Excel and Word, 10 Key and experience with large workloads
• Provide clerical support to accounts receivable and customer service teams.
• Serve as backup to the receptionist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or reception in a business environment.
• Proficient and accurate data-entry skills.
• Experience with AP coding and processing vendor invoices in SAP.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to use 10 Key efficiently.
• Ability to handle large workloads effectively.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using copy machines, fax machines, and telephones with minimal training.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with various departments and levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Previous experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
