Senior Accountant

The Opportunity as a Senior Accountant We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join a lean, collaborative finance team. This isn't a role where you'll be pigeonholed into AR, AP, or one narrow area. You'll have the opportunity to work across cost accounting, inventory, CAPEX, AR, reconciliations and month-end close while partnering directly with the wider business. The company has a strong track record of promoting from within, with the potential to progress into Accounting Manager, Controller and other finance leadership positions. What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant Manage Accounts Receivable and account reconciliations Support inventory accounting and costing Manage CAPEX and capital expenditure requests Assist with month-end close and journal entries Support broader general and senior accounting activities Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and other departments to resolve issues Investigate discrepancies and proactively find solutions Help support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and systems What We're Looking For in the Senior Accountant 3–5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP Cost accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Exposure to inventory and costing methodologies Broad accounting experience rather than specialization in one function Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Aerospace experience is a plus, but not essential. Candidates from plastics, automotive, industrial, or other manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply. Personality Matters This is a high-visibility, hands-on role within a small team , so we're looking for someone who is confident, proactive and comfortable operating under pressure. You'll need to be someone who doesn't simply send an email and wait for an answer. If you need information from Operations or Supply Chain, you'll be comfortable getting up, walking over and finding the answer.
