Supervise and support RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs. Assist with staffing, scheduling, assignments, and coverage. Monitor resident care, documentation, treatments, and medication practices. Conduct clinical rounds and follow up on changes in resident condition and incidents. Assist with care planning, quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance. Provide staff education, coaching, and clinical guidance. Address resident and family concerns and promote effective communication. Participate in surveys, audits, care conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings. Support a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment. Assume nursing leadership responsibilities in the Director of Nursing’s absence. Qualifications: Current RN license in good standing in the state of practice. Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Ability to effectively supervise staff, prioritize responsibilities, and respond to changing resident and facility needs.
