These methodologies and processes are reinforced through our organization’s externally accredited certifications, which include ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 IT Service Management Systems (SMS, corporate ITIL certification), ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System (ISMS), and CMMI-DEV Level 3 Job Description The Federal Financial Specialist will serve as a member of a large project team supporting the client's financial improvement and audit readiness goals through a variety of work streams. The team member must possess a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. They will provide guidance on finance business processes, all controls, and financial management systems, in support of the client's efforts to produce auditable financial statements. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following capabilities: federal accounting and/or auditing, federal financial statement audits, audit/internal controls testing Minimum 2 years of financial improvement and audit readiness experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field. Eligible to receive a secret clearance. Preferred Requirements Big 4 experience with accounting or auditing on federal engagements Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
