Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of multiple departments including Pre-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy recovery.

Shift Details

Type: Day 4x8-Hour
Hours: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Weekend Call: Minimal, based on departmental needs
Start Times: Typically between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM based on operational needs

Requirements

Licensure: CA RN License
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
Charting System: Epic experience required
Preferred Experience: Charge experience, community hospital experience, and familiarity with LTAC
Floating Requirement: May be required to float between departments

Skills Required

Inpatient care
Phase I PACU experience
Arterial line management
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Blood product administration
Central line care and management
Management of IV vasopressors
Administration of narcotics and opioid analgesics
Conscious sedation and post-epidural management
Various surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neurology, and more

Patient Care Details

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Approximately 15 patients

Additional Information

This position will involve collaboration with an interdisciplinary support team, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Radiology. The RN will be responsible for a variety of patient procedures and care protocols.
