Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Ascend Mind Journey, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapy sessions for couples, families, and individuals, offering comprehensive care that addresses relationship dynamics and family challenges.

• Specializing in a variety of areas that affect family systems, such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy sessions to help heal conflicts among family members, including issues related to separation, divorce, and blended family integration.
\n
• Regularly evaluating client progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Engaging in regular professional development and continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population that includes couples, parents, children, adolescents, and blended families. Your focus will be on providing compassionate care that promotes healing and enhances family dynamics. You will also be expected to address complex issues such as job stress, medical concerns, and interpersonal conflicts, ensuring that all individuals feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing quality mental health services.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
