Full-Time Medical Assistant

The position available is for an experienced Medical Assistant at HealthWorks Family Medicine in Paducah, KY, offering a full-time role with a salary range of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Candidates should ideally possess experience in primary care or family medicine, with a preference for those who have cared for both pediatric and adult patients.

Essential responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers with examinations, and performing various clinical tasks such as administering injections and conducting point-of-care testing.

The role also involves documentation within EMR systems, patient communication regarding lab results, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

A high school diploma is required, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
