Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Serve an elementary caseload of 3K and 4K students, providing essential services that set the foundation for lifelong learning. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15am to 2:45pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar so you can plan ahead.

Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher license issued by the state of South Carolina (required; no exceptions)
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary special education populations, preferably with students in Pre-K/3K and 4K
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and specialists
• Skilled in adapting curriculum and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for fostering growth and providing inclusive, supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to 3K and 4K students in accordance with IEPs
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that celebrates student progress
• Foster partnerships with parents, caregivers, and school staff for holistic support
• Assist with evaluations, data collection, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for each child’s needs
