Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support clinical and dispensing functions in a dynamic healthcare setting in Seattle, WA. This role requires expertise in both clinical pharmacy practices and dispensing prescriptions, offering a rewarding environment to apply comprehensive pharmaceutical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Manage medication therapy and provide clinical consultation to healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy laws
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist with current credentials in the relevant state
- Experience in clinical pharmacy as well as prescription dispensing
- Strong understanding of drug therapies, interactions, and pharmaceutical care
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a healthcare environment
