User Experience Designer

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Title: User Experience Designer - AEM Rate: 50-60HR Duration: Contract through the end of 2026 + extensions through 2027 Location: Hybrid, 3x a week on-site in Basking Ridge, NJ OR NYC JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a UX/UI Designer with strong CX expertise to support a high-priority AEM migration initiative for multiple pre-paid phone brand websites. This role will focus on end-to-end design across digital customer experiences as part of a large-scale transition off Salesforce, with 1st migration targeted for completion by year-end. The designer will play a critical role in rebuilding components, supporting UX for key customer-facing pages, and contributing to a new design system. This individual will work across the full experience lifecycle—from customer flows and bi-directional journeys to component-level execution within AEM—ensuring a seamless and modern digital experience. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5-7 years of UX Experience design experience in enterprise digital environments / ecommerce Hands-on experience designing for or within AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Ability to work component-first (modular, scalable design systems) Four or more years of experience working with Figma, Photoshop, Creative Cloud, and other design software. Content creation and ecommerce site merchandising experience. Better if they have: Experience specifically handling large-scale CMS or website migration projects. Results / action-oriented with strong process, work-flow, and project management skills. Ability to think innovatively and creatively and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results. Good understanding of content creation process leveraging agency partnerships. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team. Curious and open to continually learning and improving.
