You will be working side‑by‑side with the client’s process engineers and analytics specialists and will be communicating your work to executive audiences. You will help codify best practices, radiate our impact internally and externally, and shape the product roadmap. Your qualifications and skills Degree in a discipline such as computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, analytics, engineering, machine learning or equivalent 3+ years of relevant professional experience in advanced analytics, ideally in the context of heavy industry Ability to write clean and efficient code in Python; ideally with experience in using cloud computing resources (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Ability to apply and advise on state‑of‑the‑art analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to derive business insights and solve complex problems Excellent problem‑solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions Ability to thrive in a flexible, multi‑disciplinary and agile working environment Track record of completing projects successfully on time as per scope Willingness to travel to other offices and/or client locations for short/long term assignments Strong interpersonal communication skills; experience in facilitating discussions with leadership Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
