Relationship Manager

Job Summary As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM), you will prospect and conduct sales presentations both in person and over the phone with small and mid‑sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. You will report to a District Manager, receive coaching from a Director, and be responsible for presenting our value proposition, demonstrating our Payments Platform, upselling existing clients, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager. Responsibilities Prospect and close sales of business solutions to merchants throughout the area. Set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships. Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present solutions to close sales for small to mid‑sized businesses. Use CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing. Maintain accurate client records, including call notes, scheduled interactions, and contact information in the CRM system. Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure quota. Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one meetings with your leader. Additional Responsibilities Continuously build and develop knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and changes within the financial technology industry. Build and maintain network and referral partnerships to support prospecting efforts. Assist with other duties as assigned by leadership. Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity. High sense of urgency and innate sales talent. Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face conversations. Knowledge of the restaurant and/or retail industry is a plus. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age or older. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to client sites. Likely to be located within the area relative to the job posting location. Minimum 75% field time. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Compensation Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE) of $100,000+ with a base salary of $40,000+ and residual income. Monthly/quarterly bonuses awarded for exceeding quota and achieving sales goals.
